It will be the first 3-part feature in the show's brief history, which has so far included episodes with Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Al Pacino, and a special edition of never-seen-before chats with the late Robin Williams. WHY THREE PARTS WITH MERYL "Meryl is monumental," Sheehan explains. "As a role model and an achiever, Meryl Streep embodies distinctly different reflections of women today -- in performing, in the working world and in the awards arena, giving us three very distinct Streepisodes to present." Meryl Streep reveals many personal insights into the 'Meryl Mystique' on "Sheehan & The Stars". "I can get very wrapped up in the details of life," Meryl laughs, "and the deadlines and the appointments, sometimes losing the big pictures for the trees." MERYL TALKS OSCARS Her "Sheehan & The Stars" Academy Awards comment expresses what it's like to be nominated a record 19 times but only win 3. Meryl grimaces slightly, and admits, "I have lost the Oscar more times than any human being in history," she smiles. "Everybody says 'Oh you've been nominated more than anybody.' Yeah but I've gone to the thing many times and lost, so there's kind of a cumulative nausea that builds up, and fear. I try to keep it equipoised with hope, but I'm not sure I'm able to do that." The three Streepisodes on "Sheehan & The Stars" can be seen on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms. |
