Meryl smoothed her blonde hair back into a ponytail, showing off her perfectly made-up face as she peered through her trendy, cat-eye frame, prescription glasses. She completed her ensemble with black tights and black ankle booties. |

The Oscar winner was joined by TV host Meredith Vieira who was emcee at the glittering event that raised funds for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation dedicated to curing spinal cord injury and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis. It was set up by the late Superman star, who was paralysed when he fell from his horse in an equestrian competition in 1995, and his actress wife. Christopher died October 10, 2004 of heart failure, aged 52., while Dana succumbed to lung cancer just two years later, aged 44. |
